At Stewards of Nature, we give companies a direct way to restore ecosystems—while proving the results.

Our Services

Water

Invest in high-impact water restoration credits from our cleared lands, restoring freshwater to ecosystems and communities.

Biodiversity

We make it easy for companies to take part in ecosystem restoration—whether you’re starting small or going all in. Each package supports a real plot of land and comes with benefits designed to make your impact visible and shareable.

Water + Biodiversity

Invest in a tailored proposition that combines biodiversity restoration on your chosen plot of land with water restoration credits, delivering measurable ecological and community benefits.

Water stewardship

Our water restoration efforts unlock measurable, science-based value from restoring ecosystems and clearing invasive alien plants.

Our water impact represents a tangible gain in annual water productivity—calculated in cubic meters per hectare—providing companies and partners with a credible, transparent way to offset water use, enhance resilience, and invest in the regeneration of shared natural resources.

  • By showing exactly where and how recovery happens, we make our water credits clear, credible, and easy to integrate into sustainability strategies.

  • By grounding our work in globally recognized standards, we ensure that every claim is independently verifiable.

Monitoring and Reporting

What makes us different is the rigor and transparency behind our monitoring and reporting. Using RSB’s methodology and tracked through FSC Ecosystem Services, every site is mapped, validated, and benchmarked for real-world performance, ensuring that our claims are verifiable and trusted. From annual productivity per hectare to total water gains per site, our dashboards deliver clarity and confidence for commercial partners.

Biodiversity packages

  • Enable (Clearing only)

Recovery begins gradually. By removing invasive plants, ecosystems gain space to recover.

  • Engage (Clearing + Seeding)

Adding seeding after clearing accelerates recovery. Native plants return more quickly, boosting biodiversity in a medium timeframe.

  • Enforce (Clearing + Seeding + Planting)

The most intensive path, combining clearing, seeding, and planting (plus soil preparation). This effort drives the ecosystem toward full restoration.

Reporting and monitoring

We go beyond generic updates with a dedicated reporting and monitoring system that makes your impact visible, verifiable, and lasting.

  • From day zero: Baseline data on water, vegetation, and biodiversity is established so recovery can be measured with accuracy.

  • Granular insights: Power BI dashboards with real-time tracking at the level of individual plots, species, and interventions.

  • Proof of progress: Detailed records of invasive trees cleared—such as black wattle, eucalyptus, and pine—plus hectares restored versus invaded.

  • Ongoing site monitoring: After clearing, we continue to monitor plots to prevent regrowth, erosion, or other risks that could undermine recovery. This aftercare ensures sites are not left vulnerable and that restoration gains are protected.

  • Transparent storytelling: Regular updates with photos, maps, and metrics that bring your land’s recovery journey to life.

  • Stakeholder-ready: Co-branded impact reports blending science, visuals, and narrative to inspire confidence and engagement.

Join our flagship biodiversity project

Reviving South Africa’s
Natural Heritage

This flagship project is about more than clearing invasive species, it’s about reviving one of South Africa’s most iconic wild spaces. The Eastern Cape’s hidden rivers, and ancient grasslands host extraordinary biodiversity, including the Big Five: elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo, and leopard.

By restoring water flows, re-establishing indigenous flora, and opening space for wildlife, we are bringing balance back to the land. Where elephants roam freely, grasslands flourish, and rare birds return — proof of how efficiently nature rebounds when given a chance.

What makes this project different is its scale, long-term vision, and unique setting.

By joining, you don’t just support conservation, you also help drive a movement to restore biodiversity and secure a living legacy for generations to come.
